How much sand should I send for my custom pieces?

For jewelry, a small plastic snack bag (6 1/2” x 3 1/4”) or small prescription bottle is more than enough to make several items. A small plastic sandwich bag (6 1/2” x 5 7/8'“) is enough sand to create sets of Treasure Charms. The sand should be dry and without large stones, shells, or other materials. Contact us to tell us what you’d like to have made and we’ll be happy to guide you with the amount of sand needed. Left over or excess sand cannot be returned and becomes the property of Nama•sand, LLC.

Will my jewelry, charms, and coasters look exactly like the photos?

Similar to snowflakes, grains of sand are unique. The result is that no two pieces will be exactly alike, rather each will have its own natural beauty. Sand in the Treasure Charms remains dry and will look similar to the photos. Since the sand becomes wet during the casting process of the jewelry, the sand will be darker, similar to its appearance when you enter the ocean or sea. The shells that adorn the Bottle Coast•ers may vary based upon availability. Please contact us if you have concerns regarding the quality of your items.

How are the Treasure Charms, Jewelry, and Coast•ers made?

Each piece is made to order by hand in Morris County, NJ. Treasure Charms are double sealed to ensure that sand will not spill out of the 2mm glass charm bottles. Jewelry and Sand•Flakes are cast in a proprietary blend that includes an FDA approved resin. Please allow up to 5 days for your items to be created.

All items are custom made and we are happy to replace any defective items within 30 days of receipt. If your item(s) needs repair or replacement due to a defect, we will repair it or replace it with the same item as available. If we cannot repair or replace your item, you will have the option to choose another item of equal value or a store credit.  If your bracelet gets damaged during use, please contact us for repair.
